Fifteen people. Three venues. One of the most quietly beautiful days we’ve shot.
Peter is British, Alona is Ukrainian and they met in Thailand when Alona was working there. Alona has since moved to Singapore to join Peter. Their vision was classy and timeless, and every single detail delivered on that.
The morning started at Raffles Hotel Singapore, where Alona got ready with her bridesmaids and her mother lifted the veil into place. Peter didn’t see her until she was at the aisle. That was the plan, and they held to it. A vintage Rolls-Royce brought her to CHIJMES, where Dr Brenda Low officiated the solemnisation. Her best friend’s daughter walked ahead as flower girl, her sister and best friend were in front of her as bridesmaids. Green and white florals against the architecture and the light. It was editorial in the most effortless sense — refined, considered, timeless.
After, they returned to the Raffles lawn for drinks and a live band with their fifteen guests. Then dinner at the floating pod at Fullerton Bay Hotel, with the city skyline around them and the water below.
We’ve been lucky to shoot many intimate weddings in Singapore, and this one is a memorable one.
