We’ve photographed a lot of luxury weddings in Singapore. Joseph and Jolie’s is the one people ask us about. We’ve known Jolie since her teenage years back when she was already dabbling in blogging and photography, already developing the eye and the taste that would eventually produce this wedding. So when we say this was one of the most fashion-forward, elaborately beautiful days we’ve ever photographed in Singapore, we mean it with full knowledge of who she is and what she’s capable of.
This was grand, extravagant, detail-oriented luxury wedding photography territory at its finest and the Ritz Carlton Millenia Singapore was the only stage for it. The solemnisation was entirely dressed in white and gold. Clean, striking, intentional. Then the ballroom reception was designed to look like an art gallery, their pre-wedding images displayed as the collection. Lush greenery, florals, and fruit spilled across every surface in that particular way that feels both abundant and considered.
The entrances were their own performance. Their second march in featured a choreographed first dance — lifts, dips, the whole thing, right down the aisle. By the third march in, gold confetti poppers had gone off and the room had fully let go. And then the afterparty: a DJ spinning nothing but 90s classics, a crowd that absolutely lost it, and a night that ended the way only the best weddings do with people not wanting to leave.
