Bryan and Mika wanted a wedding that felt like them: chill, cozy, intimate. So they chose Alcove at Caldwell House, which is a smaller, characterful venue tucked within Singapore’s historic CHIJMES because it gave them room to keep things close and unhurried. These are two people who believe in living fully by staying present, not taking life too seriously, and being gloriously silly together. Their wedding was exactly that: light, warm, and full of heart.
It was, quite simply, a colourful day. Soft pastel tones ran through everything, styled with a gentleness that mirrored the couple themselves. Mika, who is half-Japanese, has the rare kind of presence that pulls off both ends of the spectrum — striking and editorial one frame, soft and playfully warm the next — and the camera loves her for it. Both she and Bryan are among the kindest, most genuine people we’ve had the joy of photographing, big-hearted in a way you feel the moment you meet them. The day overflowed with laughter, cute moments, and more than a few happy tears.
At the centre of it all was their faith. Bryan and Mika prioritised worship, choosing to build their marriage around God, and that intention gave the whole celebration a grounded, meaningful weight. Then came the surprises: Bryan sprang a secret dance with the bridesmaids on Mika that sent a wave of emotion through the room, and the couple themselves picked up a guitar to sing for their guests.
